Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking line cook to assist our team of chefs in our Indian restaurant. The line cook will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks such as food preparation, dishwashing, and cleaning the kitchen. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the chefs in food preparation, including chopping vegetables, cutting meats, and measuring ingredients
Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized at all times
Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
Stock and organize ingredients and supplies in the kitchen
Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment by following food safety guidelines
Follow recipes accurately and consistently to ensure high-quality dishes
Assist with plating and presentation of dishes as needed
Help with any other tasks assigned by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience working in a restaurant kitchen preferred, but not required
Ability to follow instructions accurately
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
